Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation Announces Elmhurst Clinic Capital Campaign Pledge

ELMHURST – The Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation announced that the Elmhurst Clinic has pledged a $250,000 gift toward the Exceptional Past, Extraordinary Future capital campaign to support the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.
The Elmhurst Clinic is a multi-disciplinary medical group affiliated with Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. Comprised of over 90 physicians who are board-certified in 20 different specialties, as well as non-physician providers and staff, the Clinic has convenient locations in Elmhurst, Lombard, Addison, Wood Dale, Bloomingdale and Oak Park.
“Our Board of Managers felt it was important to support this historic project,” said Donald R. Lurye, M.D., MMM, Chief Executive Officer of the Elmhurst Clinic. “The new Hospital will greatly benefit our patients, our physicians and staff and the local communities for generations to come — and we are proud to be a part of it.”
In recognition of the Elmhurst Clinic’s gift, their name will be featured on a landmark at the main entry of the new Hospital. The new Hospital building will serve as the centerpiece of the 50-acre integrated healthcare campus located near the corner of York and Roosevelt roads in Elmhurst. Scheduled to open in late 2011, the 866,000 square-foot hospital will contain 259 private patient rooms and be connected to the existing Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health.
