Support the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Fifth Annual Autumn Affair

Join the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation at their fifth annual Autumn Affair gala on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, IL. Hammes Company has once again provided generous support as the Event Sponsor for the 2009 Autumn Affair. The Chairman of the 2009 event is Katie Rauh and the Co-Chairmen are Michelle Meziere, MD and Jen Owens, MD.
This elegant evening will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dancing to the Stanley Paul Orchestra as well as a live and silent auction. The live auction will be led by NBC5’s Allison Rosati and will feature many unique items including a mink jacket from York Furrier and luxurious trips to Acapulco and Los Cabos, Mexico. The silent auction will feature a flat screen TV, a MacBook, artwork, Bears, Cubs, Sox and Bulls tickets and much, much more.
All proceeds from the event and auctions will benefit the Power of Prevention initiative, which was created by Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare to raise awareness about the importance of early disease detection and preventive screenings that can save lives. Nearly one out of every two adults in this country is living with a chronic disease. Fortunately, these common health problems are also among the most preventable. Through the Power of Prevention initiative, area police officers and firefighters will be offered free heart scans, high-risk children will receive free screenings and many others will discover that they have the power to influence their own health.
Tickets to the 2009 Autumn Affair are $250 each; tables of ten are available. Black tie optional attired is requested at the event.
