About the Foundation
What We Do
Nearly 100 years ago, the people of Elmhurst did something exceptional: they built the first acute-care hospital in DuPage County. As the Hospital grew and changed, the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation formed to raise funds to support the Hospital’s programs and facilities.
Through fundraising events and invitations to donate in the forms of cash, gifts in kind and planned gifts, the people of Elmhurst have shown extraordinary commitment to Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. And because of that generosity, our families, neighbors and friends fare better.
In 2008, we embarked on a historic philanthropic initiative. To give our patients the best care for generations to come, we have built a new Hospital next door to our nationally recognized Center for Health at the corner of York Street and Roosevelt Road.
Our new Main Campus allows us to reflect and humanize the latest advances in healthcare. It helps us retain top talent in every field. It grants us the flexibility to embrace new technologies and new ways to care for patients – and grow as our communities grow.
You are invited to put your stamp on this once-in-a-lifetime campaign. Find out more about how you can get involved as we recognize our exceptional past and look forward to our extraordinary future.
