About the Main Campus
In May 2008, we broke ground on the new 50-acre campus at the corner of York Street and Roosevelt Road, next to the Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health/William and Carol Parrillo Building. On June 25, 2011, the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Main Campus opened its doors to patients and visitors.
The integrated design of the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital makes it easy for patients to go from physician visits to diagnostic testing or to inpatient or outpatient care.
Visitors also benefit from the Prairie-style architecture, with a convenient on-site retail complex featuring boutiques and stores such as Walgreen’s and Starbucks, and peaceful areas for reflection.
The new building reflects a vision to transform our Hospital into a life-enhancing, healing environment. To turn this vision into reality, we are in the process of raising $27.5 million -- and has allowed us to accommodate new technologies, expand our community outreach and transform how we deliver care.

Encompassing 866,000 square feet and 259 beds, the Main Campus makes its home on a 50-acre site adjacent to the Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health/William and Carol Parrillo Building.
